Nothing hidden. Every step, explained.

Tell us where, what, and when.

You call or book online. We ask three things: your location, the type of document, and how many signers. No forms to fax, no office to visit. Within 15 minutes, you have a confirmed appointment with a named notary — not a dispatch queue.

"I called at 6:45 PM on a Tuesday. By 8 PM the paperwork was done and my mom's power of attorney was signed at her bedside."

David K., Thousand Oaks — Power of Attorney

We confirm via text and email. You'll know who's coming and exactly when.

Three things. That's it.

Gather your documents — but do not sign them yet. The notary must witness every signature to make the notarization valid. Bring a government-issued photo ID: driver's license, passport, or state ID. For loan signings, your lender may request two forms of ID and specific documents returned with the package.

"Les emailed me a prep checklist the night before. I had everything ready when he arrived. The whole signing took 20 minutes."

Derek & Priya N., Westlake Village — Loan Signing, Home Purchase

Do not sign anything before the notary arrives. Pre-signed documents cannot be notarized.

03

The notary arrives. Everything gets handled.

We come to you — kitchen table, hospital room, conference room, or curbside. Identity is verified from your photo ID. Each signature is witnessed in person. The official les jarrin mobile notary is applied and every act is recorded in a numbered notary journal. You receive a receipt separating notary fees from travel fees.

"I've used Jarrin four times for closings. They're professional, unhurried, and my clients always comment on how calm the process feels."

SANDRA STANTON, REAL ESTATE PARALEGAL — CALABASAS

You receive a written receipt. Notary fees and travel fees are always listed separately.

Notary arrives at your location on time

Everything you need to know.

Common questions about mobile notary services, pricing, identification, and what to expect at your appointment.

Yes — we come to your home, office, hospital, or jail. Wherever you need us, we travel to you.

A Mobile Notary or Traveling Notary is a notary public who travels to meet clients in-person, rather than requiring you to visit a fixed office location. We bring the notary service directly to your door.

Fees for notarial services are mandated by each state. In addition to the fees for each notarization, travel fees will also apply. Travel fees start at $40 and go up depending on distance and the time of day. The cost to notarize a document is $15 per person per document. For an exact quote, please call (805) 813-5757.

We offer same-day service, or you can schedule an appointment in the future if needed.

Our regular business hours are 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. We do offer extended hours for an additional fee.

We travel to most locations — homes, businesses, hospitals, assisted living facilities, and pretty much any location you need.

We serve southwest Ventura County and northwest Los Angeles County, including Simi Valley, Moorpark, Newbury Park, Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village, Agoura Hills, Camarillo, Santa Rosa Valley, Oak Park, Calabasas, Chatsworth, Porter Ranch, Canoga Park, Hidden Hills, Granada Hills, and Northridge. We can travel further for an additional fee.

Acceptable forms of ID include: Valid California Driver’s License or non-driver’s ID, Valid US Passport, Inmate ID card, Valid Canadian or Mexican Driver’s License, Valid US Military ID, Valid foreign passport, Employee ID issued by a California city or county, or an ID issued by a federally recognized tribal government.

No — Social Security cards, birth certificates, marriage licenses, and student IDs are not acceptable forms of identification for notarization. These documents do not contain a photograph, physical description, or meet government-issued ID standards.

No. A notary public is not allowed to provide legal advice or draft legal documents unless they are also a licensed attorney. For legal advice, document drafting, or reviewing agreements, please contact a licensed attorney.

A notary can: verify the identity of signers, witness signatures, administer oaths and affirmations, and acknowledge that a document was signed willingly. A notary cannot (unless also an attorney) explain legal implications, advise on document type, draft legal documents, or edit legal language.

Yes, in most cases. The notary must be able to communicate with the signer, and the notarial certificate must be in a language the notary can read and complete correctly. The notary does not need to understand the entire document — only to identify the signer and complete the notarial act.

In most cases, a notary cannot notarize a document that contains blank spaces. Documents should be complete before notarization. Any blank spaces should be filled in, or lined through and marked "N/A."

Generally, no. A notary should not be a party to the transaction they are notarizing, as it creates a conflict of interest and can invalidate the notarization.

No — a U.S. Notary Public is not the same as a "Notario Público" in Latin American or civil-law countries. This distinction is very important, as misunderstanding it can lead to serious legal problems.

A Notary Loan Signing Agent (LSA) is a specially trained Notary Public who handles the signing and notarization of loan documents, most commonly for real estate transactions such as mortgage closings, refinances, HELOCs, reverse mortgages, and loan modifications.
